Entering a New Season of Life…

Hi Friends!

I know it has been a little while since my last blog post. The truth is - some big changes are coming, and it’s been causing me to fall little bit behind…. HOWEVER, we are excited to announce that we are entering our Parenting Era!

I have just made it to the second trimester (thank goodness), and our little peanut is due March 13, 2025. We are already so in love!

What does this mean for HMC?

I am shifting HMC’s priorities just a little bit.

For starters, I will be shooting weddings through November this year and will be taking a break until June so Adam and I can get used to our new role as parents.

I will still take on a few sessions through January, MAYBE February, depending on how I am feeling.

What can you expect from HMC going forward?

Pre-baby Jodie was entirely focused on weddings, engagements and boudoir. Now, I am opening my availability for family sessions and I couldn’t be more excited!

 I am so excited to enter this new season of my life, and now I want to share my excitement with other moms!

The best part (I think) - you all will have the opportunity to see the first newborn photos I take of our little sweet pea… Ugh, not me trying not to cry as I write this!

All in all, I have not fallen off the earth, I am just adjusting to the rollercoaster that is pregnancy. Thank you so much to everyone that has been giving me a little extra time to edit galleries, and a little extra support during wedding days. Your kindness is so appreciated!
