Remembering a Shoreview Wedding

Memorial Day Weekend 2024 was one to remember! We had the honor and privilege of working with Melody and Adam to memorialize their wedding day for years to come.

Melody and Adam put a lot of thought into how they could make their day more sentimental to them. For example, they put together this adorable slideshow of photos of themselves growing up together (yes, childhood sweethearts, how adorable)!

Adam’s mom was the Flower Woman and recited a bible verse during the ceremony. Melody’s mom and aunts were part of the wedding party. This entire wedding SCREAMED family, love, and togetherness. In my opinion, it totally captured the most important parts of life.

The ceremony was held at Ambassador Baptist Church in Shoreview, MN, with the reception being held in the happy couple’s backyard.

The energy and support for Melody and Adam was so overwhelming throughout the day, but especially during the ceremony. As much as I LOVE photographing wedding ceremonies, this portrait session had to be one of my favorites so far!

Melody and Adam were both so cooperative and kind, even when we were fighting with the lighting outside during their portraits. I swear, every time we had a shot posed and almost ready to shoot, the sun would hide behind the clouds, or come out to play. It was getting to be pretty comical!

Now they are currently spending their honeymoon in Honolulu (so jealous!) but we wanted to take a moment to thank you for hiring us for your wedding photography and videography needs. Adam, Melanie and I had such a fun time working with you both!
