Maya and Cristhian’s Wedding: A Day To Remember

Saturday, December 16th was the perfect day to get married in downtown Minneapolis. It was a cloudy day, but rather warm for December in Minnesota. This was good for two reasons: 1) Nobody had to worry about poor road conditions and 2) we were able to get some beautiful portraits out on the balcony without Maya or Cristhian freezing to death!

Their wedding was held at the beautiful Mosaic Venue, which is located a couple floors above Finnegan’s Brewery. The Mosaic showcases a large and open industrial feel which totally played into the moody vibe that Maya was going for when she was planning their big day!

While I do love the getting ready photos where you can see Maya is literally being sewn into her dress, or the gorgeous first look they had on the balcony and any and all other romantic parts of their day, I have to say my favorite part of this wedding was the reception! There is no doubt in my mind that this was the most energetic and fun crowd that I have personally witnessed! I was so giddy when the guests formed a conga line, I haven’t seen one since I was a child!
