Hi folks! Thank you for visiting my website. I have been so excited to get my blog up and running for y’all. Going forward, you can expect to see some true story telling unfold from different photo shoots with my lovely clients as well as some personal and/or business updates from myself (Jodie!)

A few things about me:

While this business is fairly new to me, photography, art, and music have always been a large part of my life. Art and band were my favorite classes through all of my schooling. This is where I learned a lot about how composition, both visually and auditory, make or a break a piece of art or music.

I grew up in the small town of Randall, MN. While the small town life does have some appealing aspects, I decided to stay in St. Cloud, MN after graduating college. My husband and I just recently bought our first house here. Since then, I have taken on many new hobbies such as gardening, repurposing furniture, and of course, learning how to maintain a home!

I can’t even tell you how excited I am to be on this journey with my photography business! I have always wanted to be an entrepreneur. Being able to combine these two different sides of my life is so fulfilling. I get to learn something new every day, whether it’s for the business side or the photography side. Writing a blog has always been something I was interested in, but never knew where to start or what to write about. That is definitely not going to be an issue in the foreseeable future! I plan to cover everything from clients’ weddings to how to prepare for your photo shoots!
